Session two: A versatile horse is an able horse. This is a four hour evening session. During this session, the focus shall be to build on the basic skills learned in session one to complete advanced maneuvers including lead departures, lead changes, balanced stops, rollbacks and spins. |

Session three: A versatile horse is not afraid to try. This is an eight hour session. The first four hours shall be devoted to answering questions and resolving issues as directed by the workshop participants. During the second four hour block, all participants will participate in a Ranch Riding class where each will have an opportunity to show off the skills earned and receive a written critique of their performance. |
 |
Prior to the start of the scheduled workshop on Monday through Thursday, your clinician will be available for two hour small group lessons. Participation shall be limited to four riders per group. The first rider to sign up for a session will select the lesson material from a list of possibilities including; softening and flexibility, basic maneuvers, compound maneuvers, advanced maneuvers, starting a horse on cattle, working from the herd and working a cow on the fence. |

On the Saturday immediately following this workshop we will be offering a Versatility Ranch Horse Competition. This workshop represents an awesome opportunity to prepare to show and win. |

Session 2: Build on the skills learned in session one and begin to perfect advanced maneuvers including soft round circles, lead departures, lead changes, stops and backup, rollbacks and spins. |

Session three: This session will include four hours of review and problem solving as directed by you, the workshop participant. The session will conclude with a Ranch Riding competition where you will demonstrate the skills learned in the workshop and receive a written critique of your performance. |

A Versatility Ranch Horse competition will be held on the Saturday following the workshop. As a workshop participant, you may enter the competition for a reduced fee. |
