Founded in 1832, Double H is located in the beautiful Piney Woods of east Texas. We're a small family-owned ranch dedicated to breeding solid, dependable Quarter Horses at an affordable price.
We aren't the largest ranch in Texas by a long shot, and I suppose some places can lay claim to good horses just like us, but I don't think you will ever find a place, or a group of people more dedicated to the ideals of Quarter Horses. They are America's horse.....wrapped in the traditions and the romance of all that America is and all we hope to become!
With a focus on conformation, disposition and athletic ability, our horses have carried cowboys to work, have helped families succeed, brought a smile to a youngsters face in a show arena, our horses have been tied outside church houses while families prayed. We LIKE the idea that no matter what you want to do with a horse we probably have the right horse for YOUR family.
