According to the Washington Post, Interior Secretary Ken Salazar announced a plan for the government to sterilize wild horses and transplant thousands to new public preserves in the Midwest and East.
Salazar's plan is asking for $96 million to buy land in the Midwest and East to create two preserves. Guess who gets to pay for that!
