Whitewater Therapeutic Riding Association

This past Friday, I had the unique opportunity of meeting with Joyce Scott and Jim Evans of Whitewater. The meeting went well and I had had the opportunity of demoing CowZ for Joyce, Jim and some of the association's key people. This, of course, is always fun and exiting.

There was, however, an unexpected and rewarding opportunity for me to do something more. In fact, this became the bright spot in my day because it seemed to mean something. Half way through the CowZ demo, four young girls came into the arena. These are girls who benefit directly from the good work that is done by Whitewater. With the support of Joyce, Jim and the others, I was able to cut the demo short and dedicate myself and a block of time to these beautiful girls. They were bright and inquisitive and absolutely wonderful. I count myself privileged to number them among my friends.

The work that Whitewater does for disabled people and children at risk is amazing. In a world that is often darkened by greed, and arrogance, the Whitewater volunteers do truly shine.
