Windrush Ranch & Kennel has been breeding and raising American Paint & Quarter Horses since 1979 and have been located in the hot South Texas region of the Texas state for even longer. Our horses here at Windrush are of top-caliber show quality and are also usually ones to have beautiful, eye-catching color.
 We concentrate on producing competitive halter and performance/pleasure bred horses. Our breeding program is cornerstoned by our two senior stallions: a beautiful, golden western pleasure palomino and an APHA Champion sorrel overo (loud & gorgeous!). We strive to breed superior horses with tractable, sweet dispositions. Not only do they win the show but your heart as well. Aside from the show ring, our horses have excelled as mounts for the ranch, trail, the aspiring youth, and as the ole pleasure horse. Our horses also posses champion breeding of today's new "standard" along with the old, legendary sires; the one's whose influence has dramatically impacted both the Quarter & Paint horse industry. On that note, these bloodlines are still relevant and our horses have proved such by having what it takes for today's showring and working arena.
 With effort and consistency, our stock have gone to compete with the best of them and so far we have been more than successful! Several of our horses have gone on to become top competitors in Hunter Under Saddle, Dressage, Western Pleasure, Halter, Roping, Racing, Barrels, Jumping, etc. Even as Mexican charro horses.
We also have a paint show gelding by Classy Laddy in Germany
All of our stock have proven bloodlines: The Invester, Boston Mac, Leo Goldseeker, Triple Chic, Sinn Fein, Mr NorfleetAPHA, Lads Image, Dash For Cash, Hempen, DynamiteAPHA, Impressive, Goldseeker Bars, and many more to mention.
We do have transportation available anywhere in the U.S.; we also have experience with international shipment to anywhere in the world.
We do not breed for numbers but for quality, wether horses or dogs, for as the sayings go..."one great one can make up for twenty good ones" and the theory, "his phenotype tells what he looks like but his genotype tells us what he really is and his progeny confirm it."

We would like to also mention that the publishers of Camino Books, Inc. had chosen one of our dogs, Enzo de la Terre Aimee, to grace the cover of Belgian Malinois Champions'1996-2002' as well as having many of our other dogs featured inside along with a few articles written by us discussing Malinois behavior, training, and selection. It' an informative book that's also filled with the breed's history, tons of photos, and articles by other breeders. It's definitely worth any Malinois person's time.

Check out the March 2005 Paint Horse Journal. The American Paint Horse Association chose some of our photos to be published for the article "Pixel Perfect". The article's main idea is showing how registration pictures should be taken. They used one of Classy Laddy's son's, Sir Donatello, to represent how the ideal photos should look. A huge thanks to APHA for selecting our photos & one of Classy's babies. Sir Donatello is proudly owned by Cesar Arguellas.
